...and follow our tours day by day.
The videos that are linked to BMA's site are predominately from that trip. I would not hesitate to recommend that you take advantage of BMA's more competitive pricing, as it is absolutely NOT a reflection of the quality or attention Maarten puts into these tours. During our journey, I always felt safe, knowing there was a sweeper truck behind, carrying petrol, and a qualified mechanic/driver (Erwin). BMA may be relatively new, but Maarten knows adventure biking like few others, and how to make it fascinating and fun. He knows Bolivian history and culture, and speaks fluent Spanish.
The bikes that BMA uses are relatively new, run strong even in the 14K foot passes, and represent a good compromise of dirt capability/suspension travel and well behaved road machine. Maarten and Erwin are good mechanics too, and examine the customer's bikes in detail before departing each morning. Something vibrates loose during the day; they're on it.
Bolivia is a fantastic combination of winding tarmac, mountain dirt roads, quiet villages and tremendous history. I'm not in the habit of retracing my leisure travel steps, but I'm sure going back to Bolivia to see more.

It's great that you've located BMA and Maarten. Great company, with the right pricing and attitude about moto adventures.
I have the utmost respect and gratitude for the work and organization that Maarten put into the tour my friend and I took with him this April.
